Rick Fitzpatrick

Rick is the founder and principal of Fitzpatrick Group, accounting and business advisors in the Campbelltown area for over 30 years. Rick has been an active member of the Campbelltown community during this time serving on a number of Not For Profit Boards in the Macarthur area.

Rick encourages the firm to be active within the community, participating in numerous charity days such as the 24hr Walk Against Cancer. Fitzpatrick group also give generously back to the community with a percentage of their gross fees being donated to many of the charities within the region.

Rick has been a member of Campbelltown Chamber for over 20 years. He strongly believes the Chamber to be the most significant body business owners have in the Campbelltown area to instigate change on their behalf with Government. Rick served as President for over 3 years.

Rick encourages businesses of all sizes to become members. The more members the Chamber has the greater voice we have at all levels of Government.

Ian Fulton

Ian is married with three adult sons and five grandchildren and is an active member of the Campbelltown community since 1978.

A Finance Professional since 1981 he is the owner of Aussie Campbelltown and previously managed IMB Bank and Suncorp Bank Branches, owned Wizard Home Loans Narellan and in a totally different field partnered in a motor vehicle restoration workshop at Ingleburn.

Ian has been a Director of Campbelltown Chamber of Commerce for the past 3 years and he was previously Treasurer for three years in the mid 1980’s. He also held Executive roles with Ingleburn and Parramatta Chambers of Commerce.

In addition to his business interests, Ian served as an Officer with the Australian Army Cadet Corps for over 21 years as well as Committee Member and Chairman of Campbelltown TAFE Committee and Committee Member and Chairman of Macarthur and Districts Association for the Disabled for many years. Ian’s vision for Campbelltown is a strong and growing community with diverse business and individual opportunities being created in a dynamic and vibrant environment fostered by the Chamber and all levels of government.

Former owner of Around The Clock Pest Control and current partner of the Business Chamber Referral Group, helping businesses I would have to say is my passion. Being President of the Chamber on its 70th year in business and celebrate this milestone in style, would have to be the highlight of my 5 years as a director. Biggest achievements throughout this period were negotiating and forming Chamber Educational Partners with both Western Sydney University and TAFE NSW.

Tamlyn van Zyst

Tamlyn is the longest servicing Director (8 years) being a very long time for anyone to volunteer and take away time from their own business. Tamlyn’s passion for helping businesses really showed when Glenn Creecy was President for 2 years and the help and assistance he received was next level. Further to this Tamlyn having chaired the board for the last 2 years through which would have to be the toughest period of the Chambers history (COVID-19 pandemic). Tamlyn’s contributions to not only our Chamber but to the wider business community throughout the years has been invaluable. As a Chamber, we thank her for her dedication, perseverance, and vision. We thank her immensely for serving on this board for 8 years and we wish her all the very best on her next endeavours. We are proud to name Tamlyn van Zyst, Life Member of the Campbelltown Chamber of Commerce.

Gerald Kenneally

Gerald has been a long-term member of our chamber, but most importantly has been our Returning officer for our AGM for a number of years. He has been an amazing asset to our Chamber as well as our Business Community as a whole. His outstanding charity work he does and the support he provides the homeless community in our region what more than reason enough to have Gerald made a Life Member of the Campbelltown Chamber of Commerce.

Dr Mike Freelander MP

From time to time, the board can appoint Honorary membership to a person who is a prominent citizen in public office or with a high responsibility within the community. It is with great pleasure that we announce that the board unanimously decided to appoint Dr Mike Freelander MP as an honorary member of Chamber at our recent AGM. When COVID first struck, Dr Freelander was a great assistance to members in understanding the medical impact of COVID and what potential impact it would have to their business at our first online event in 2020. Dr Freelander has been a prominent member of the Campbelltown community, both in his work as a paediatrician, and more recently as a politician. He works tirelessly in representing our community and we thank him for the support he has given and shown for our Chamber members. We thank Dr Freelander for all his efforts no only to our community but for his continued support of the Campbelltown Chamber of Commerce.
